Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to oversee a defined store area and assist the Store Manager to ensure smooth operations. You will open/close the store, supervise Associates, and maintain a safe, attractive shopping environment with strong merchandising standards.

The role requires excellent communication, English fluency, prior supervisory experience, and familiarity with POS equipment. Evening and weekend availability is expected as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and supervise Associates as Manager on Duty.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-merchandised store environment.
• Lead Front End operations and coach cashiers to meet service standards.
• Ensure loss prevention practices and proper compliance with company policies.
• Perform administrative duties such as payroll reporting and scheduling as assigned.
