Ross Stores is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a specific store area and supervise store operations when acting as Manager on Duty. You will open/close the store, oversee Associates, ensure a friendly shopping environment, and maintain merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and secure shopping environment on the sales floor.
• Supervises Associates and supports Store Leader on Duty shifts.
• Ensures proper merchandise presentation and clean work areas.
• Executes Front End procedures and cashier operations.
• Oversees payroll administration including daily punch edits and scheduling.
• Performs administrative duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
