Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a specific store area and oversee operations as Manager on Duty. You will open/close, supervise associates, and ensure a friendly, easy-to-shop environment with strong merchandise presentation.

The role requires supervisory experience, excellent communication, and familiarity with POS systems. A focus on safety, loss prevention, and payroll coordination will be essential in this position.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and English fluency required.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and supervise associates as Manager on Duty.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and merchandised sales floor to standard.
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes as needed.
• Train and coach Associates on cash registers and front-end procedures.
• Manage payroll administration including scheduling as assigned.
