Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to oversee a specific store area and assist with overall store operations as Manager on Duty.

The role includes opening/closing, supervising associates, maintaining presentation and cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with company processes. This position requires strong communication, front-end supervision, and the ability to work evenings and weekends in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Open and close the store as Manager on Duty.
• Supervise Associates and maintain a friendly, easy to shop environment.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and maintain a clean work area.
• Execute and supervise company operational processes as needed.
• Maintain loss prevention awareness and safety standards.
• Train and coach staff on front-end procedures and customer service.
