Job summary

Lids Sports Group is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Durham, NC. You will lead daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service while coaching a team to meet KPIs and ensure visual merchandising standards.

You will manage scheduling, training, and the implementation of company policies, with accountability for performance and a supportive, inclusive work environment. This role reports to the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc. when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through LIDS Training Programs, goal setting, and regular follow up.
• Administer progressive discipline including verbal and written warnings in absence of Store Manager.
• Engage team members by creating a fun, productive environment aligned with company objectives.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper store operations and procedures.
• Encourage compliance with company policies and safeguarding of inventory, funds, and property.
