Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Asheville, NC. You will lead store operations, train staff, and deliver exceptional customer service while driving sales and ensuring store standards. This role requires strong leadership and the ability to manage daily store activities to meet performance goals.

You will oversee scheduling, merchandising, and operations, while maintaining a positive, inclusive team environment and delivering a premier retail experience for our customers.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to drive sales while minimizing loss.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to operate with minimal direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on Duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints.
• Lead store associates via LIDS Training Programs and goal setting with regular follow-up.
• Administer progressive discipline with verbal and written warnings when needed.
• Create a fun, productive, and inclusive team environment while adhering to Brand Standards.
• Schedule and staff the store, including covering peaks when the Store Manager is unavailable.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on operations and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and protect inventory and assets.
• Support in executing store-wide strategies to drive KPIs and customer service.
