Roses/Roses Express in Virginia Beach seeks an motivated Assistant Manager/Key Carrier to provide excellent customer service and support the Store Manager in daily operations. You will help hire and train staff, manage opening and closing, safeguard assets, stock merchandise, and maintain a welcoming, efficient sales floor.

The role requires flexible full- or part-time schedules including weekends and holidays; prior retail experience is preferred.

Formación

• Experience in retail management preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Capable of working in a high-energy, team environment.
• Willing to work full-time or part-time including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with the hiring, training and development of store team members as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Open and close procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures including safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Maintain all areas of the store to company standards, including stockroom and sales floor.
• Direct supervision for hourly Team Members when the Store Manager is not present.
• Process SSC Corporate directives.
• Assist with receipt and return of merchandise and manage freight flow.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Assist in ordering and stocking merchandise and maintaining stockroom organization.
• Ensure the sales floor is sales effective daily.
