Job summary

Roses/Roses Express is seeking motivated individuals to support our stores and provide essential products at great values to the communities we serve. As an Assistant Manager/Key Carrier you will deliver excellent customer service and support the Store Manager with store operations to achieve company deliverables.

You will hire, train, and develop team members, assist with daily store functions, and ensure opening/closing procedures are covered in the Store Manager's absence.

Qualifications

• Effective communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high energy, team environment.
• Flexible full-time or part-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift, bend and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, training and development of store team members as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Open and close procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Assist the Store Manager in protecting and securing store assets, including cash.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards including recovery.
• Direct hourly Team Members when the Store Manager is not on the premises.
• Assist with receipt/return of DSD merchandise and freight flow.
