Job summary

Roses/Roses Express is seeking an Assistant Manager/Key Carrier to deliver excellent customer service and support the Store Manager in overall operations. This role involves supervising hourly team members, managing daily store activities, and ensuring store standards are met.

The position requires flexibility for full- or part-time schedules, including evenings and holidays, with emphasis on loss prevention, inventory control, and safe handling of cash assets. Join a high-energy team.

Qualifications

• Preference for prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, training and development of store team members as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Open/close procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Maintain all store areas to company standards, including stockroom and sales floor.
• Direct supervisory responsibility for hourly team members when the Store Manager is not on premises.
• Assist with receipt/return of merchandise and management of freight flow.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards and stock merchandise accordingly.
