Job summary

Roses Express is seeking an Assistant Manager/Key Carrier to support store operations and provide excellent customer service. You will help the Store Manager with hiring, training, and daily store activities to achieve company goals.

Responsibilities include opening/closing in the manager's absence, asset protection, adherence to safety policies, and supervising hourly team members to maintain a productive, friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform walking/standing duties.
• Flexible full-time or part-time schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, training and development of store team members as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Able to perform all opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Assist the Store Manager in protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures including safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Maintain all areas of the store to company standards, including stockroom and sales floor.
• Direct supervisory responsibility for all hourly Team Members when the Store Manager is not on the premises.
