Job summary

Roses/Roses Express is seeking motivated individuals to support our Stores and provide essential products to communities served. As an Assistant Manager/Key Carrier, you will deliver excellent customer service and assist the Store Manager with overall store operations to meet company goals.

Responsibilities include hiring and training team members, daily store tasks, opening/closing in the manager's absence, safeguarding assets, and maintaining a positive, productive environment.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, training and development of store team members.
• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards including recovery.
• Direct hourly Team Members in the Store Manager's absence.
• Process corporate directives.
• Assist with receipt and return of merchandise and freight flow.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Assist with ordering and stocking merchandise and maintain stockroom organization.
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
• Follow the Store Operations Weekly Bulletin directives.
