Job summary

Old Navy is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the tone for the store and lead the team in delivering a best-in-class customer experience. You will drive profitable sales through customer and product operations, merchandising, and talent development in collaboration with store leadership.

You will coach Leads, Experts and Brand Associates to achieve performance goals, while managing store strategies and ensuring consistent execution of procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, overnights and weekends.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Support strategies to drive store sales and customer satisfaction.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associates and Experts.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure consistent execution of operating procedures.
