Job summary

Burlington is seeking a Retail Stocking Team Supervisor to lead the Back of House operations at our Fairfax location. You will supervise the receiving, unloading, and flow of merchandise to the floor, while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the back area.

As a key member of store leadership, you will coach associates, coordinate workloads, and help recruit and onboard new staff. The role requires a proactive, safety-conscious approach and a commitment to our core values and community

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in an off-price, big box, or specialty environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Back of House operations including receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting merchandise, and moving goods to the sales floor.
• Ensure back of house cleanliness, organization, and standard adherence.
• Reinforce asset protection strategies to reduce shrink.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by following company guidelines.
• Direct associates and workload; coach and recognize performance in real time.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates; participate in workload planning.
