Job summary

Burlington is hiring a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor to lead the Back of House/Receiving area and support store leadership. You’ll oversee receiving, unloading, sorting, and flow of goods to the sales floor while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

The role requires supervisory experience in retail, strong people skills, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Growth opportunities exist within our expanding organization.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in off-price, big-box, or specialty retail.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to move/lift merchandise weighing 40 lbs or more and stand for extended periods.
• Direct and coach associates, plan workload, and ensure back-of-house operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression process (receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, processing merchandise, and flow to sales floor).
• Ensure back-of-house cleanliness, setup and organization at standard.
• Reinforce asset protection strategies to prevent shortages.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by following guidelines.
• Drive associate compliance with company policies and standards.
• Direct associates and workload; accountability for productivity and merchandise protection.
• Coach associates and provide recognition in real time.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
