Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a front-line team member to help customers, run a fast checkout, and promote rewards and private label cards in a busy retail setting. You will assist with BOPIS/SFS, shelf replenishment, and framing-related duties as needed.

The role requires standing and moving around the store, lifting and stocking, and a customer-focused attitude. Michaels emphasizes an inclusive environment and competitive benefits for team members.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and move around the store.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Responsible to complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go back process
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance; execute Company policies
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner; promote commitment to the organization’s vision and values; model behavior for Team Members
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Other duties as assigned
