Job summary

Michaels Stores in Newton, MA is seeking a Store Team Member to provide friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will help locate products, participate in truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining in-store visual standards to deliver a well-merchandised and in-stock store.

The role involves engaging customers in our Rewards program, helping with BOPIS and Ship From Store, and supporting store recovery, safety, and SOP compliance.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with cash handling and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience with standards-compliant cash handling.
• Engage customers in rewards program enrollment and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on VOC survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram processes.
• Maintain stock and store recovery; complete in-stock optimization and AD set duties.
• Support shrink and safety programs and SOP compliance.
