Job summary

Toast Tab, Inc. is seeking a Retail Solutions Engineer to join the founding team shaping Toast’s new Retail platform. You will partner with Sales and Product Management to ensure scalable, customer-aligned solutions and help retailers streamline operations and grow revenue.

You will work across product, sales, and marketing, becoming the product expert while engaging in events and brand-building activities. The role thrives in ambiguity and entrepreneurial energy.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year Toast experience.
• Working knowledge of POS systems.
• Ability to handle complex customer communications with high satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist sales teams in presenting the Toast product and platform to prospects.
• Become an expert in the product with complete knowledge of the technologies and the application software.
• Identify the prospect’s business challenges and position Toast or partner ecosystem as a solution.
• Communicate gaps in product/market fit to Product Management and Product Marketing.
• Work with Sales Enablement to provide training and product expertise.
• Attend trade shows and events as a Toast brand ambassador.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Sales Enablement, and Marketing.
• Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
