Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a Retail Team Member in Shreveport-Bossier City, LA. You will assist customers, stock merchandise, and participate in truck unloads and planograms, while delivering a fast, friendly checkout experience and promoting our Rewards program.

The role supports omni-channel processes (BOPIS/SFS), ensures in-stock conditions, and upholds store standards and safety policies. Must be at least 16 years old and willing to work nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and early mornings.
• Minimum age 16 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram (POG) processes.
• Maintain well-merchandised and in-stock store; complete merchandise recovery and return/go back processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and company policies.
