Job summary

Michaels Denham Springs is seeking a customer-focused team member to help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions in a fast, friendly manner. You will handle checkout, enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards, and participate in in-store processes such as BOPIS and SFS.

Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining in-stock shelves, while following SOPs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments
• Educate customers on VOC surveys
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go backs
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Follow SOPs and company policies
• Interact with customers and team members professionally
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
