Job summary

Michaels Stores in Monroe, LA is seeking a store team member to help customers, locate products, and deliver a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will support unloading trucks, stocking, and planogram maintenance to keep shelves in stock and well-merchandised.

This role involves BOPIS/SFS, customer engagement, and adhering to SOPs. Prior retail or service experience is preferred, with flexibility for nights, weekends, and early shifts.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to move throughout the store and lift items as needed.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; handle cash transactions to standards
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments
• Educate customers on VOC survey
• Assist with BOPIS and Ship From Store processes
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram maintenance
• Maintain in-stock condition and perform store recovery tasks
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact with customers and coworkers in a respectful manner
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
