Job summary

Michaels is seeking a customer-focused associate for our Shreveport-Bossier City store. You will assist customers, locate products, maintain a fast checkout, and help enroll shoppers in the Rewards program. You’ll support omnichannel tasks like BOPIS and SFS while helping unload trucks and stock shelves.

The role emphasizes friendly service, teamwork, and adherence to store policies; candidates should be comfortable standing and moving throughout the store and lifting during daily duties.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the rewards program and enroll them in Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock conditions; complete merchandise returns as needed.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs and company policies.
