Job summary

Michaels is seeking a team member to deliver friendly customer service at our New Orleans store. You will help customers find products, provide fast checkout, and enroll shoppers in rewards programs.

The role involves omni-channel support (BOPIS/SFS), stocking, and maintaining in-stock conditions while following SOPs and safety guidelines. The position requires a positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work in a climate-controlled retail environment on site.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience and handle cash to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, including returns.
• Support store in stock optimization and AD set duties as assigned.
• Assist shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs.
