Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a store associate for our Wichita, KS location. You will deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience.

You will assist with stocking and merchandising, participate in truck unloads, and help maintain in-stock conditions. You’ll engage customers in rewards programs, support omnichannel efforts, and uphold store safety and SOP standards.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they’re looking for.
• Ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience and handle cash to standards.
• Assist with merchandise stocking, truck unloads, and planogram adherence to keep shelves in stock and well-merchandised.
• Promote rewards programs and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll customers.
• Participate in omnichannel processes like Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Support store recovery, safety programs, and SOP compliance.
