Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a store associate at our Topeka, KS location. You’ll help customers shop, locate products, and ensure they have a fast, friendly checkout experience.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, maintaining planograms, and supporting omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store. You’ll promote the Michaels Rewards program and assist with store recovery and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to handle cash and provide fast checkout.
• Willingness to engage customers and enroll them in rewards programs.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS/SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram processes.
• Maintain stock and backroom organization for in-stock store.
