Job summary

Michaels in Omaha, NE is seeking a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining in‑stock shelves, while upholding safety and SOPs.

The role supports omni-channel tasks like BOPIS/SFS and promotes rewards programs to customers. The Michaels Companies, Inc.

Qualifications

Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.

Responsibilities

Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
Engage customers on the rewards program and enrollment in Private Label Credit Cards
Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and go backs
Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
Support shrink and safety programs
Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; interact professionally with customers and team members
Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
Other duties as assigned
