Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Everett, WA is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

You will oversee front-end operations, POS usage, and store programs while driving KPIs through coaching and day-to-day leadership. Responsibilities include ensuring SOP compliance, developing the team, managing BOPIS/Same Day Delivery, and promoting the Loyalty Rewards Program.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Lifts up to 25–50 pounds with/without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations and champion SOPs and company programs.
• Model exceptional customer experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout, support transactions.
• Oversee in-store programs (Balloons, Birthday parties, Loyalty) and omni‑channel services.
• Train and develop team members and build asset protection practices.
