Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of the Assistant or Store Manager, and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

You will lead team members in delivering excellent service to retail and professional customers, manage showroom programs, and ensure accurate processing of orders, returns, and deposits while

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience is desirable.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge is a plus.
• ASE Certification and bilingual ability (Spanish) are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom floor and support store programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders promptly.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges accurately and ensure refunds are correct.
• Invoice all merchandise before it leaves the store and communicate Zipline messages as needed.
• Ensure staff adhere to posted work schedules and clock in/out per policy.
• Perform opening/closing duties and security procedures.
