Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist in California to support the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may include shift management in the absence of store leadership.

You will lead team members to deliver excellent service to retail and professional customers, manage showroom service programs, and ensure timely processing of orders, returns, and invoicing. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom including program execution.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers and notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently using the order ledger.
• Process returns/exchanges, issue refunds correctly, and stage returned merchandise.
• Ensure merchandise invoicing before product leaves the store (core charges/warranties).
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to the posted schedule and proper clock-in/out.
• Perform store opening/closing duties including day-end procedures and bank deposits.
• All other duties as assigned.
