Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role will also assume shift management responsibilities when managers are not present.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure team execution of service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy and calls are handled promptly.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner.
• Handle returns, refunds, and exchanges efficiently using proper payment methods and staging.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before it leaves the store and communicate Zipline messages and merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Monitor work schedules, clock-in/out practices, and secure the store during opening/closing duties.
