Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This role may assume shift management in their absence.

Responsibilities include leading the team in delivering exceptional customer service to retail and professional customers, supervising service programs, handling orders and returns, and executing day-to-day store procedures with integrity and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Spanish language proficiency is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom and programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub, and transfers; contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges accurately, issue refunds correctly.
• Invoicing for all merchandise, including core charges and warranties.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure staff adhere to schedules and clock in/out as policy.
• Perform opening/closing duties and day-end procedures; secure money and deposits.
