Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is hiring a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may involve shift management in the absence of supervisors. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and may lead store teams to deliver top service.

Required: strong communication, RSS certification, and a willingness to obtain RSS. Desired: auto parts experience, automotive knowledge, and ASE certification.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure adherence to programs.
• Ensure all orders and transfers are processed timely and communicated to customers as needed.
• Oversee returns, refunds, and proper invoicing of merchandise.
• Perform opening/closing duties, money handling, and security duties as required.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
