Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Wellington, OH is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support store management in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of the Store Manager.

The position requires strong communication skills and RSS Certification, with desirably retail auto-parts experience and automotive know-how. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Desirable: retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification is a plus.
• Bilingual abilities (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom including program execution.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders timely and communicate shipments.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently with ledger.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store, including core charges and warranties.
• Delegate tasks like Zipline messages and merchandising duties.
• Manage schedule adherence, clock-ins/outs, and daily opening/closing duties.
