Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Retail Service Specialist in Ohio to support store leadership in delivering exceptional customer service and smooth store operations. The role includes shift management in the absence of store leadership, ensuring timely processing of orders and transfers, and maintaining store appearance and procedures.

The position emphasizes strong communication, adherence to policy, and willingness to work across merchandising and service programs, with bilingual candidates

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the showroom floor and ensure proper execution of customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub-and-store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner and notify customers upon shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently using the outside purchase order ledger.
• Ensure returns and exchanges are processed promptly with correct refunds and proper staging.
• Invoicing of merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Monitor adherence to posted schedules, obtain approvals for deviations, and ensure proper clock-in/out procedures.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, and secure money, deposits, and building security.
