Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and daily operations. This role will also assume shift management duties when leadership is absent.

• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom including program execution.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders timely.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and accurately.
• Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds, and stage returned merchandise correctly.
• Invoice all merchandise including core charges and warranties before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Monitor work schedules; approve deviations; ensure clock-in/out per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, secure money/deposits, prepare bank deposits, and secure the building and vehicles.
