Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Supervisors in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may include shift management in the absence of the store leadership, with bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

The position emphasizes strong communication, team leadership, and efficient handling of store processes, including in-store transfers, returns, and invoicing.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure team execution of service programs.
• Ensure phone calls are answered per policy and that orders and transfers are processed promptly.
• Manage buy online/ship to store, hub, and store-to-store transfers and communicate shipment arrivals to customers.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure.
• Process returns and refunds accurately and ensure items are restocked properly.
• Invoicing for merchandise, core charges, and warranties before products leave the store.
• Oversee communication of Zipline messages and delegation of Image Maker and merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted schedules; clock-in/out and labor procedures are followed.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end cash procedures, including deposits and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
