O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support store leadership in sales, customer service, and operations. The role may assume shift management in the absence of store leadership.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong communication abilities with customers and team members.
• RSS Certification is required or obtainable for the role.
• Retail experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise showroom service levels and execute customer service programs.
• Answer the phone per company policy and process orders promptly.
• Manage buy online/ship to store and transfers; notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and accurately.
• Process returns, refunds, and exchanges in a friendly manner using correct methods.
• Invoice merchandise, core charges, and warranties before the product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Monitor schedules, deviations with management, and clock-in/out compliance.
• Perform opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, and secure deposits.
