Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of leadership and encourages bilingual candidates to apply.

Responsibilities include leading staff, handling showroom service, processing orders and transfers, and performing opening/closing duties with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASe Certification: ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise showroom customer service programs and ensure correct execution.
• Ensure telephone is answered per policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store and transfers in a timely manner; notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedures.
• Process returns and exchanges; issue refunds using correct payment methods.
• Invoice merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages; delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure scheduling compliance and proper clock-in/out; manage opening/closing duties and bank deposits.
