Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This position will also assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Managers and other supervisors—bilingual applicants encouraged.

The role emphasizes delivering excellent customer service, managing service programs, and ensuring accurate processing of orders, returns, and deposits while maintaining scheduling

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge
• ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom floor and execute service programs
• Ensure telephone calls are answered per policy
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub, and store-to-store transfers and notify customers of arrivals
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and per procedure
• Ensure returns, refunds, invoicing, and stock are processed accurately and timely
• Conduct opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, and secure money/deposits according to policy
• All other duties as assigned
