Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Bellefontaine, OH seeks a Retail Service Specialist to support store leadership in sales, service, and operations. The role includes shift management in the absence of store managers and frontline supervision to ensure excellent customer service for retail and professional customers.

You will engage with customers, supervise service standards in the showroom, and coordinate product transfers, orders, and returns.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure policy-compliant calls.
• Process buy online/ship to store and store-to-store transfers promptly; contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently.
• Ensure returns are processed accurately and invoiced before leaving the store.
• Manage day-to-day operations and assist with opening/closing duties and security checks.
• Assign tasks and ensure adherence to schedule and proper clock-in/out procedures.
