Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Wilmington, OH is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support store leadership in sales, service, and operations. This role may assume shift management in the manager's absence and ensures daily procedures are followed to protect assets and customer satisfaction.

You will lead by example in customer interactions, oversee showroom service programs, process transfers and orders, and maintain accurate cash handling and banking procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience in auto parts desired.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge preferred.
• ASE Certification desirable.
• Fluency in Spanish highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team to provide excellent customer service.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and programs.
• Answer phone according to policy.
• Process transfers, online orders, and add orders promptly.
• Handle returns, refunds, and exchanges efficiently.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure staff adhere to schedules and clock in/out correctly.
• Perform opening/closing duties and banking procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
