Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Boardman, OH is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, and store operations. You will assume shift management duties when managers are away and help maintain store appearance and efficiency.

The role requires strong communication, willingness to obtain RSS certification, and may benefit from bilingual abilities. Candidates with auto parts experience, ASE certification, and automotive knowledge are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Experience in retail sales, preferably in auto parts, is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure adherence to customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy and order processing is timely (BOP/ship to store, transfers, and DC add orders).
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure and manage refunds and returns accurately.
• Invoicing of merchandise, core charges, and warranties before product leaves the store; maintain security and cash handling per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and ensure team clock-in/out per policy.
