Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is seeking a Store Team Member in Alexandria, VA to deliver friendly customer service, help customers in-store, and ensure a fast checkout experience.

You will participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram tasks while maintaining in-stock merchandise and supporting store initiatives. Applicants should have retail or customer service experience, be able to stand for long periods, and move throughout the store for stocking and customer assistance.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
• Move throughout the store and perform routine stocking and store recovery tasks.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Maintain in-stock conditions and merchandise recovery; support store recovery and safety programs.
