Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is hiring at its Sterling, VA store to deliver friendly customer service and help customers locate products.

You will handle fast, accurate checkout, assist with in-store tasks, and participate in omni-channel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store. Candidates should have retail or customer service experience; must be at least 16 years old; duties include stocking, unloading trucks, maintaining in-stock shelves, and supporting store recovery

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain in-stock store and merchandise recovery; support safety programs.
