Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Alexandria, VA is seeking store team members to deliver friendly customer service and help shoppers find what they need.

You will checkout customers accurately, assist with unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, and maintaining planograms. You’ll promote the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, and support omnichannel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they’re looking for.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience with accurate cash handling.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining planograms.
• Engage customers in rewards programs and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Support omni-channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
