Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a Store Associate in the Alexandria, VA area. You will help customers shop, locate products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will assist with omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS), while contributing to stock, planograms, and store recovery.

Experience in retail or customer service is preferred. The role involves standing for long periods, lifting, and working nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast checkout and cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Assist with BOPIS and Ship From Store (SFS) processes.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram maintenance.
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise integrity, incl. returns and go-backs.
• Support Store In Stock Optimization and AD set duties as assigned.
• Assist shrink and safety programs.
• Follow SOPs and company policies; promote a positive store image.
• Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production.
