Job summary

Michaels is hiring at our Richmond-Broad, VA store for a Customer Service/ Retail Associate role. You will help customers, assist in locating items, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience while supporting stock, pricing, and merchandising to maintain an inviting store environment.

Responsibilities include promoting the Rewards program, enrolling customers in Private Label Credit Cards, assisting with BOPIS/SFS, unloading trucks, and maintaining SOPs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments for Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with BOPIS and SFS Omni-channel processes.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain store appearance through merchandise recovery and in-stock duties.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Follow SOPs and company policies and standards.
• Interact professionally and be a positive role model; cross-train in Custom Framing.
