Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. in Richmond–Midlothian, VA is hiring for a Store Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and help them find products.

You will handle fast checkout with accurate cash handling, support store recovery, stock shelves, participate in truck unloads, and ensure the store remains in-stock and well-merchandised. Experience in retail or customer service is preferred; the role may require standing for long periods and flexible hours including nights

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast checkout with accurate cash handling
• Encourage enrollment in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Maintain store recovery, in-stock shelving, and merchandise presentation
