Job summary

Michaels is seeking a team member for a store environment in the Montgomery County area. You will assist customers, process transactions, and promote rewards programs while maintaining a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking shelves, executing planograms, and supporting BOPIS/SFS workflows. The role requires reliability for early mornings, evenings, and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to handle cash and provide fast checkout.
• Familiarity with store recovery, shelf upkeep, and merchandising basics.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers with rewards programs and enroll them where appropriate.
• Assist with omni-channel processes including BOPIS and Ship From Store.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise appearance; support shrink and safety programs.
