Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Chicago is seeking a store team member to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure fast checkout while keeping merchandise stocked and well-presented.

You will help with truck unloads, planograms, and store recovery, participate in Omni channel tasks like BOPIS/SFS, and support safety and SOP compliance; prior retail experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Preferred Type of experience the job requires Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop the store.
• Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties to keep the store stocked and in stock.
• Engage customers in our Rewards program and enroll them in Private Label Credit Cards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Perform store recovery, maintenance, and planogram (POG) compliance.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies to ensure legal compliance and standards.
• Interact respectfully with customers and promote Michaels values.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
