Job summary

Michaels Stores in Orland Park, IL is seeking a Store Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a smooth checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, BOPIS/SFS, and keep the store well-merchandised and in stock.

You will engage customers in the Rewards program, manage POS transactions, and support store recovery while adhering to SOPs and safety standards. This role requires energy for nights, weekends and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Strong cash-handling and POS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey and collect feedback.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes and maintain store recovery.
